I wanted you to know how you’ve touched my family. I don’t know how long it’ll last, but for now I’m just so unbelievably thankful. It’s the best thing that could have happened for me. Although I do now work full time, I get to be at home and work at night or whenever my boys allow me to. I honestly don’t know with the way our daily life is if I could hold a full time job. And I just wanted to take this moment to express my sincere gratitude. This morning we got a bill and I just burst into tears, it was already paid for and I know we could not have done it this effortlessly without you. He’s healthier and happier and after several months of a lot of really bad days-this means the world to us. This last week our son has been making small but strong strides in progress. Recently we were pulled off of the wait list for a specialist that didn’t accept our insurance and we didn’t even have to hesitate. we’ve been able to give our son everything he needs and so much more. We found our new diagnosis to be quite expensive. Quickly, my business began evolving and so did my life. I love crafting and I needed something that was just mine. Honestly, at first I did it more for myself. And even on our TOUGHEST days, in our TOUGHEST moments he is MY HERO.Ī couple of years ago I made the decision to take a chance on myself and sell my bow ties I had been making for my own young sons. He has a full time job of learning to live in a world that was not made for him. To feel the sun kiss your face, embrace the calm, wiggle your toes in the sand-how to be truly (flappy) happy. He shows me things, things the rest of the world misses. To APPRECIATE life like I could have never imagined. My son has forced me to see the world so differently. Three years ago our lives were changed forever. Autism has hands down been the most insane adventure. This is how deeply YOU have touched my heart, and you just have no idea. I couldn’t even make it without ugly crying through a video. I’m not going to be able to get through this post without tears. I really try to keep my business separate from my personal life.
